HP9000 K460 problem

I have a K460 that is hanging on Test CD10 IO. Anyone have an idea of what is happening?

Is the CD OK? Is the CD drive OK, Is the cd drive claimed in ioscan output?

Can you read other cds successfully on this cd drive?

Diagnostic:

shut down, open the K box, unplug power from the cd, reboot.

If it boots all right, then the CD is bad.

If not, there is proably a problem on the scsi chain/cabling something like that.

While you have the box open check for obvious unplugs and stuff.

Or do what I'd do, an HP hardware call.

Turns out problem was with the HSC Expansion I/O module. I suspect the SCSI daughter card is probably bad.
