HVD-LVD adapter
I have a SureStore 12H Autoraid connected to an HP9000 N-Class server (non-production use) via SCSI C875 Fast Wide Differential. Will an Ultra320 Host Bus Adapter enable support for the Autoraid on HP-UX 11i v2?

Re: HVD-LVD adapter
The autoraid (like all HVD devices) are not supported by 11.23.
This HBA is even not compatible to HVD devices.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HVD-LVD adapter
High Voltage Differential (HVD) SCSI, while a state of the art design some 20 years ago, is completely incompatible with *EVERY* SCSI interface. The high voltage allowed enormously long SCSI cables (more than 50 feet). At one time, BlackBox sold a converter from HVD to standard SCSI. Now all they have is a converter for standard SCSI devices to be used on an HVD interface card.
The 12H is so slow and inefficient in disk usage that it really makes sense to use it except on legacy systems such as the K-class or D-class systems.
