Internal disks supported by 9000/800/L3000-6x model

Hi everybody,

I need to add more internal disk to add some more space to vg00.currently i have 2 internal
disks :

disk 0 0/0/1/1.2.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE HP 18.2GMAN3184MC
/dev/dsk/c1t2d0 /dev/rdsk/c1t2d0
disk 1 0/0/2/0.2.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE HP 18.2GMAN3184MC
/dev/dsk/c2t2d0 /dev/rdsk/c2t2d0

server model is 9000/800/L3000-6x

I want to know how many internal disks my server can support.

Hi,

the L3000 (aka rp5470) has slots for 4 internal disks.

At the moment the slots

Disk slot B1 and Disk slot A1 are loaded,
slots A0 and B0 are free (both left slots).

Four disks can be installed on this server as mentioned by Torsten and maximum capacity of the disk available is 146GB.

How i can check how many slots are there and which are occupied and which are free.

have you analysed this ioscan output to chk this , if yes , please explain ?

Hi,

the L-Class has always 4 internal disk slots.
The hw-path is fixed and written on the chassis.
