Yes. I've had them swapped out hot plently of times.

Hi Roland,

Yes - but they're a pain in the rear because they're not in very good hot-swappable mounts and they're in the back down low and you have to remove that "cage door". Just make sure you pull the proper drive. Check the label - twice.
