K 260 booting problem
Hi
I have K 260 in which after installation of patches when I restrted the system the display shows INIT C440 and nothing is coming on my console vt100 terminal.
Where is going wrong?
Thanks

Re: K 260 booting problem
Reset your console: turn it off, hold down the D key and power it back on. This resets the defaults.
INIT C440 means your console is the problem.

Re: K 260 booting problem
I agree with Cheryl - your console is the problem. But I see you're running an old DEC VT100. Are the communication parameters correct?
9600 baud - 8 data bits - 1 stop bit - No parity & X/on X/off flow control.

Re: K 260 booting problem
The issue is that the key on the front of the server is in the service position. Switch it to the run position. When it is in the service position and a ctrl-B has been entered you will be in a service menu. You can also enter "co" at the console to leave te service menu.
