L2000 reboot

We have an L2000 (4 x 550mhz, 3gb mem) that, following a suspect overtemp from an aircon failure is intermittently rebooting - currently may or may not reach BCH before restarting. Takes a long time on post, and if doesnt reach bch, was seen to restart after / during platform test 6200.

No errors in tombstone logs, or red faults, only clue is gsp log below:

Log Entry # 2 :

Initially replaced platform monitor card - which kept system up for a week. On inspection today, noticed fans (psu and io) are 'surging and dying' eventually leading to restart.

I plan next to replace the power converter module , with a system board on standby (doesnt appear to me like a psu, cpu , memory or system problem )

Has anyone experienced this before, or confirm if problem diagnosis is correct ?

Thanks, Geoff

Re: L2000 reboot

Thanks Freddy - I have closed this thread as I opened a duplicate, which is nearby in this table !

I changed the power converter module and we are monitoring the situation.

I expect this is what you meant by the power harness !! - which is a short ribbon cable -
