does unix use pop for mail servicing? (this is on a K class server?) how do i find out what it uses?

It depends on what you are using for mail. a lot more detail is needed on your server. Do you have a local Hp rep that can help you out?

Hello Bryan,

As standard HP-UX uses SMTP for mail handling. See www.sendmail.org for more info.

POP3 servers are available for HP-UX and a quick search on the web will point you in the right direction.
