MAKO Processor

Hi all,

we just upgraded a Superdome partition with the PA8800 dual-core. Strangely if I pass the command:
/usr/bin/echo "\$e" | /usr/bin/adb64 -k /stand/vmunix /dev/mem | grep "cpu_is_a_"

I obtain the result:
cpu_is_a_MAKO: 0
cpu_is_a_PIRANHA: 0
cpu_is_a_PCXT_PRIME: 0
cpu_is_a_PCXL2: 0
cpu_is_a_PCXW_PLUS: 1
cpu_is_a_PCXU_PLUS: 0
cpu_is_a_PCXS: 0
cpu_is_a_PCXT: 0
cpu_is_a_PCXU: 0
cpu_is_a_PCXW: 0
cpu_is_a_PCXL: 0

??? Is it right? Is the command I submit the right onr?

Thanks for your help,
Fabio

Re: MAKO Processor

Same here.. on all our PA8800 systems, MAKO is flagged as 0.

Re: MAKO Processor

Do you have any idea of the reason? Are these kernel variable used somehow by the system? Or are they completely useless????
