Memory modules compatibility

Hi,

is it possible to use memory modules (1024MB) from rp8400 server (9000/800/S16K-A) in rp7400 server (9000/800/N4000-75)?

What I usually do to find out is to check PartSurfer. Just enter the two system models and search out the memory part numbers and compare them.

In this case, the rp8400 memory module is A6098-69101, and the rp7400 is A5864-69002. I would have to say: incompatible.
