N4000 Aor B model?

Is there a resource that i can use within HP find out if an N4000 is an A or a B without physically looking at it? I have the Serial Number -- USM4032589 -- but am not physically located with the server.
Thanks.

stm (or xstm if you prefer gui) will allow you to get the model number

Hi,

Or log into the GSP and check the firmware revision.

Control B on the console.

GSP> he

-->
A.01.12 -> revision A
B.02.20 -> revision B

Run following cstm commands to get the required information
#echo "selall;info;wait;infolog;view;done" | cstm >/tmp/cstm.txt
# cat /tmp/cstm.txt

The output of would give product number just below the Model string.
If it is A3639A , then it N4000 A
If it is A3639B , then it N4000 B

Doris, that serial number comes up as a B version, follow the link below and it will give you a little information about your USM4032589 / N4000. Type in the serial number and A3639B.
