Re: parisc =itanium ?

Hi,

see if I can help you :-)

HP-UX 11i Version 1.0 = B.11.11 --> PA-Risc ( latest version)

HP-UX 11i Version 1.5 = B.11.20 --> Itanium

HP-UX 11i Version 1.6 = B.11.22 --> Itanium

HP-UX 11i Version 2 = B.11.23 --> Itanium ( latest version)

You can find a lot of information on below link,
http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/os/11iv2/index.html

Hope this helps,

Re: parisc =itanium ?

The chips are different.

I *THINK* that HP-UX should be fairly similar between the systems though. HP-UX 11i v2 and higher do have some more web type interfaces for some SAM area rather than the normal SAM interface.

Re: parisc =itanium ?

The various release notes for 11i v1.5, 1.6 and v2 (all for Itanium) will highlight the current differences with 11.11. You can find the release notes at www.docs.hp.com.
