Re: PDC and GSP Firmare

GSP = guardian service processor
The PDC firmware normally refers to CPU.

You can start to look for firmware starting here.

Re: PDC and GSP Firmare

Hi,

I would check any OLAR related patches first like PHKL_30447.

Re: PDC and GSP Firmare

The pat_get_olar_info message indicates you need to update your PDC firmware on the machine.

http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/mainPage.do
Find individual patches --> firmware
Step 2: Enter your model
For example N4000 (click search)

The most recent set:
11.00 http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/patchDocDisplay.do?patchId=PHSS_30723
11.11 http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/patchDocDisplay.do?patchId=PHSS_30724

He referenced
PHKL_30447 s700_800 11.11 iCOD,vPars,IPMI,PDCnbcall,OLA/R AB however, the PDC firmware patch that was recommended previously has been documented to stop the pat_get_olar_info messages.
