Process for addind Memorries in slots of server RP5430
Good afternoon,
I have buy 4 memories cards of 512 KB in order to increase the memory into one server RP5430 (geniune 2 X 512 KB).
What is the exact process for doing this operation ? Can I put the cards in the slots also ? Is there another action to do after that ?
Bye.

Please unplug the power cords after shutdown. After installation, go to the boot menu and check

(information memory)
In case of trouble re-seat the modules.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Process for addind Memorries in slots of server RP5430
1. shutdown your server
2. unplug all power cable
3. All your memory have a same size.
I think your current memory at slot 0a, 0b.
Put your memory at slot 1a,1b 2a,2b. you can see at your memory slot.
4. startup your server
5. interupt at BCH menu
Main menu> in
information menu> me
check about memory configuration, total of memory.
sometime your memory not seat properly. you need unplug and plug with properly.
6. startup server
7. increse swap. normally 2 - 3 time for total memory depend your application
thanks
freddy
