How can I see the boot up sequence on the Rp3440 through serial console port. When I link up, using hyperterm I'm directed to MP login and after login, when I start console i can only see the PDC relocating onwards how come I cannot see the hardware test portion ?? please advice
Regards
Vincent

Re: Re : Quires on Rp3440
When connect to the MP, you can see everything : PDC, hardtest, etc.
From hyperterm, just shutdown (-r -y 0) your server. You will see the shutdown sequence, and then, you will normaly arrive to the boot sequence.

Re: Re : Quires on Rp3440
on a keystone rp8400 it looks like this:
MP MAIN MENU:
CO: Consoles
VFP: Virtual Front Panel (partition status)
CM: Command Menu
CL: Console Logs
SL: Show chassis Logs
HE: Help
X: Exit Connection
MP>
then type vfp like this:
MP> vfp
PARTITION STATUS: E indicates error since last boot
Partition 0 state Activity
------------------ --------
HPUX heartbeat: *
# Cell state Activity
- ---------- --------
0 Cell has joined partition
2 Cell has joined partition
and it will look like the above, i don't know for you specific hardware...
