rp3410 install hp-ux problem
dear sir,
i have anew rp3410 server with 2 hard disk (36G and 512M)
i install and run hp-ux 11i normal
but when i try to add extend 1024M RAM
and power on the server the system LED flasher RED and the system hang.
when i check the event log (LS command from PM menu) it give my
ERR_CHECK_HPMC (alart level *7)
i remove the extended memory and ,when i try to boot from the system DISK or from the CD it it fail and give the same error and the system led is RED and system HANG.

Hi Hussam,
This is a known problem ,and the firmware of the rp3410 has to be updated to 44.12 which was released by HP.

Hussam,
you can get better idea if you view the GSP log in this case.
Go on console, press CNTRL B
This will give you gsp prompt
GSP> sl
Then try analysing the error.
