i've got an rp8400's clock runs faster than it should be. ignoring NTP, which part of the server should cause this problem?

Re: rp8400‘s clock run forward problem。
I'm not remember exactly, but some "clock issues" were solved by the firmware in the past on particular servers ...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: rp8400‘s clock run forward problem。
And then after those patches, you may want to stop ignoring NTP :) Even with things "running well" computer clocks are known to drift, even if only slowly, so syncing them to suitable time sources (at least three in the ntp.conf file if you can swing it) would remain indicated.
