Does anyone know what the product number would be for a rp5450 50 pin SCSI card that would allow me to hook up a Plexstor CDRW model PX-W1210SE...really I guess a standard 50 pin SCSI connection

Solution
You need to look at the manual for the Plexstor.
see if it is: SCSI II, SCSI III, ultra scsi, fast scsi, wide scsi, fast-wide, low volt diff etc.
I don't remember all of the definitions, but do know some of these standards have more than 1 name.
(is scsi III = ultra SCSI?)
Then check the HP site, and it will clearly say what types each card supports
Remember: The best thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from.

Re: SCSI card for 50 pin Plexstor CDRW
I have a hardware vendor looking that up for me. I should know in a week.
I have the same problem. I will let you know.
