I have several working C2463A scsi drives. The problem is that I cannot find any documentation for them and I need to change the scsi id settings. There are 4 groups of dip switches on the back, with 3 dip switches in each group. Does anyone have some documentation or know how to configure it?

Solution
C2463 Fixed Media Disk Drive (1.363 GB)
Must be an oldie.
No secret in the dip switches they're always a binary truth table. 3 dip switches give you up to 8 settings. The highest value = highest priority and is usually reserved for the SCSI controller.
1 = power, 0 = no power.
2**2 2**1 2**0 SCSI
Target
0 0 0 0 Not usually used.
0 0 1 1 (* 0 + 0 + 1 = 4 *)
0 1 0 2 (* 0 + 2 + 0 = 4 *)
0 1 1 3 (* 0 + 2 + 1 = 4 *)
1 0 0 4 (* 4 + 0 + 0 = 4 *)
1 0 1 5 (* 4 + 0 + 1 = 5 *)
1 1 0 6 boot disk
1 1 1 7 highest priority / controller
2**2 = 4
2**1 = 2
2**0 = 1
Get a magnifying glass and a flashlight. Copy down what is enscribed above the dip switches and attach. You should see something like:
2 1 0
x x x
-or-
0 1 2
x x x
Note: Think of a light switch.
