Service Processor questions

I have an L3000 running HPUX 11i V1. I can access the service processor via ctrl-B. When I get to the login prompt, I press enter-enter and I'm in. however, I cannot run lc or so. It tells me that I need to be the system administrator. I can run XD (MP reset) and have done so, but when I log in as Admin-Admin it doesn't work but I can log in by pressing return-return, but cannot run lc or so. Any ideas?

I guess somebody has configured another login for the administrator access. You are only operator. You may reset the user config, if you forgot the login.

Go from the console to the OS session.
Reset the GSP
stty +resetGSP
After the GSP reboots, there will be a message on the screen:

Resetting GSP.
Press 'p' now to clear all GSP passwords and users..p
Confirm you would like to clear passwords and users? (Y/[N]) y
All GSP passwords and user information is cleared.
GSP LAN and remote accesses are also disabled.

Thanks, that worked fine. Now could you tell me how to reset the Admin password to something other than Admin? uc is not available with this version of the GSP and so gives no clues.

On this system it is SO (security options)

Thanks. The so option worked. What I needed to do is configure the user 1 to Admin and make sure it had Administrator rights. Everything else is ok.
