Superdome models

Does anyone have a list of superdome models?

I have heard many people refer to their superdome as a superdome 750. I thought there was only one type, but im guess im wrong. Can someone fill me in?

Re: Superdome models

Hi Yates,

The models I'm aware of are
SD16
SD32
SD48
SD64
and they all refer to CPU count.
The 750 is the CPU speed & there are also 875MHZ models as well.

Rgds,
Jeff

Re: Superdome models

So a 16way 875Mhz Superdome would be refered to a "Superdome SD16000 875"???

Re: Superdome models

The list isn't long. You can purchase a dome with a minimum of 2 CPUs and a max of 16, 32, or 64 CPUs. I believe that the first domes came with 750 MHz PA-RISC CPUs. Ours have the 875 MHz version. And you can now get an Itanium version of the dome.

Check out this link:

Look under the HP9000 heading for PA-RISC and the Integrity heading for Itanium based domes.

Re: Superdome models

The first Superdomes came out at 552MHz with the PA-8600 processor.
