System hang detected via timer popping

Hi All
yesterday our devlopment server found hanged. Unable to telnet or no reply on ping. The GSP logs shows the below messages. This has happened six months before also. After restarting the server is working ok. Please let me know what may be the reason. Also attached the previous GSP logs.
Thanks in advance.....
Pramod

Re: System hang detected via timer popping

Hi Pramod,

Alert level 13 itself indicates GSP detected a system hang (System heart beat
timeout) and you can analyze TOC crash dump to determine the cause of system
hang if you need.

Check for HPMC with latest timestamp from /var/tombstones/ts99 or there would be crash generated in /var/adm/crash

Can you upload the ts99 file ?

Best Regards,
Prashanth

Re: System hang detected via timer popping

Hi Pramod,

No valid information available from ts99 file...suspecting some software issue caused the system hang, would recommend you to raise a case with HP for complete diagnosis.
