Tclass Processors

Hi All,

I have two T's (T600) that have been pulled off of support because of end of life. One has 180Mhz processors and the other has 200's. I moved 6 180's to the 200 box and I got an incompatible message (STOP)...
Question, I guess I can not inter mix cpu speeds on the same computer. I know you can on the later models but not the T"s...???

Sorry, they are all 180's but I still get an incompatible message. Do I need to install them in a certain order or slot, or do I need to activate them prior to booting the kernel?

There are specific slots that can take processors on the T boxes. There should be a diagram on the box above the expansion slots that shows what can go where.
