Re: Upgrading rp5470 - 550 Mhz
I don't know if you can mix 8600 and 8700 processors but here are the upgarde paths
A6798A HP PA-RISC processor - 650MHz PA-RISC 8700 with 1.5MB cache - Includes attached heat sink
A6805A HP PA-RISC processor - 750MHz PA-RISC 8700 with 1.5MB cache - Includes attached heat sink

Re: Upgrading rp5470 - 550 Mhz
So, no, it is highly unlikely that you can mix two different processors.

Solutionyou can't mix PA8600 and PA8700.
If you want to install PA8700 in rp5470 (A6144B) you should buy processors:
A6798A PA8700 650MHz CPU f HP srvr rp54X0
or
A6805A PA8700 750MHz CPU f HP srvr rp54X0
or
A6805B PA8700 750MHz CPU f HP srvr rp54X0
or
A6152A PA8700+ 875MHz CPU f HP serv rp54X0
and
A6799A Processor Support Module for PA8700 CPU
(one processor support module for every 2 CPUs)
