Connecting SFP+ Direct Attach J9281B to Procurve 2910 J9146A and J9145A

I need to link two 2910 Procurve switches with a J9281B cable.

When I connect the cable I get a orange blinking led corresponding to the port.

I have updated the J9146A software to 15.13.0005 revision.

In the ROM information I get the build revision #  W.14.06.

I'm connected through console port and using "show tech transceivers" command I get the following response:

Hello

As far as I can see you have attached the DAC to the SFP ports on the front side. However this SFP ports support only 1G transceivers. Thats why you are getting this message.

The DAC J9281B and all other SPF+ DACs or transeivers are only supported with the optional interface module

J9008A that can be installed in a slot on the rear side.

Sadly, it was not clear the difference between SFP and SFP+...
