Hi,
I have notcied some 2530-8 switches that seem to stop forwarding IGMP requests.
We have a IPTV VLAN that we broadcast through the business.
In area I have one central 2530-8 that connects to two other 2530-8 units via Single mode fibre SFP.
On one of the connected 2530-8 after a few days has issues connecting to the IGMP querier.
It says "waiting iniitial querier status". On the upstream switch it has active IGMP groups but I can see that it is not forwarding to the connected switch.
If I restart the connected swith the issue is still present. I seem to have to restart the central switch before IGMp starts forwarding again.
Any ideas as to why this would be happening?
