InterConnecting Switch 2848 and Switch 5308

Hi...

I can't figure out a solution for my issue, maybe it's a small setting...

So...

On Switch #1 5308

VLAN1 10.70.1.1 / 24

VLAN2 10.71.1.1 / 24

VLAN3 10.75.0.1 /16

on Switch #2 2848

VLAN1 192.168.0.2 /24

VLAN2 10.75.0.2 /16 (Connected to VLAN3 on Switch #1)

My clients are connected to VLAN1 on Switch #1 with the gateway of Switch #1 and I can't ping VLAN1 or VLAN2 on Switch #2...

Hope I have clarified it enough..Thanks much in advanced for your help

got any routing set up? like 192.168.0.0/24 via 10.75.0.2 on switch1 and 10.70.1.0/ 24 via 10.75.0.1 on switch2.

Re: InterConnecting Switch 2848 and Switch 5308

No..no routing at all, only that Switch #1 default gateway is Switch #2 and Switch #3 will have the default gateway of a firewall 10.75.0.3...

Re: InterConnecting Switch 2848 and Switch 5308

How will Switch#2 find its way to 10.70.1.0/24 and 10.71.1.0/24 then?
