IRF On Procurve 2928-24G

we have a couple of 3com baseline 2928-24G .

In the web interface we noticed that there's a IRF configuration tab.

I'd like to know if it's possible to "stack" them together , I suppose yes, and then create a LACP trunk between ports on different switches ( one on each ) and connect them to another pair of identical switches .
