procurve 2910al, 2824 questions
Can the 2824 be configured as a Layer 3 switch?? Or is it too old to become a Layer 3 swtich??
Does the 2910al require any special configuration to be a Layer 3 switch??
Where can I find documentation about teaming/combining ports oh the 2910al?? the 2824?? (I think HP calls this LACP?? and Cisco calls it trunking??)
Thank you, Tom
P.S. This thread has been moevd from Switches, Hubs, Modems (Legacy ITRC forum) to ProCurve / ProVision-Based. - Hp Forum Moderator

Re: procurve 2910al, 2824 questions
They can both support IP routing to a limited extent: they will do inter-vlan routing and you can configure static routes.
LACP is the standards-based link aggregation protocol. HP support LACP or you can configure them as HP "trunks".
