SolutionHello @broow1227, short answer is a "Yes, you can" BUT please do read the relevant Release Notes for target release (currently the WC.16.10.0016 is the latest released software build):
Aruba 2930M ArubaOS-Switch build WC.16.10.0016 Release Notes
List of AOS-Switch software releases for WC branch
That's to understand what changed (bug fixed and enhancements), generally moving from 16.05 to 16.10 doesn't require to step into intermediate releases (16.06 - 16.09).
Pay attention that, if BootROM needs to be updated too, you would expect the switch to automatically reboot twice during the update procedure (first the Switch needs to update the BootROM then it can update the Software), see Release Notes for such details.
Please note that the Aruba 2930M Switch series runs using the ArubaOS-Switch (also known as AOS-S) as its operating system so any reference to something named "IOS" is misleading (Aruba it's not Cisco and its OS is not IOS).
This whole thread should be moved into the Community Home -> Networking -> Switching and Routing -> Aruba & ProVision-based section here for better visibility.
