Doubt Partition XP24000

Hello

If I partition a XP24000 doing the following:
 
1. I partition the cache.
2. I assign the ParityGroups to the new partition.
3. I don't assign any host port to the new partition. I leave the host ports as they are: common use for all the partitions.
 
I have the following doubt:
 
If I want a host to be in this new partition, and for example, configure it using Host ports 1A and 2A.
Would this host have visibility of the disks I map to this ports or do I have to do anything more to bind the Hosts ports to the new host?
