Re: hp navigator
I have asked this of HP and have been told this is an internal tool only and they are not allowed to let us have/use it.
Which is a shame as if only for the view of the EVA's disks, RSS sets etc it is very useful.

Re: hp navigator
That's the "other" navigator, the one that was used for installing netservers.
The spartan was asking a different application (for EVA)
HP doesnt let final customer to use it, it's restricted for field engineers. I have and older version cause it gets updated just on the HP internal network.

Re: hp navigator
The need to know about RSS, Disk/Vdisk/DG/Controllers/Subsystem/EMU/Diskshelves can be seen by SSSU. You need to be an expert to understand the output so as to use Navigator. Additional facility to read through the logs (decoding EVA logs) is what engineers need it and so far I am not aware of any tool by any storage company which allows you to decode the controller logs.
My $1B advise is that you train yourself to use SSSU and understand it's output, it will be good enough to discuss the EVA issues with HP engineers.
You may upgrade the SSSU to the latest to gain advantage of new features at:
