Microsoft Cluster with HP MSA
HEWLETT PACKARD : HP Proliant DL360R06 Intel Xeon E5504
HP MSA2312sa DC Modular Smart Array
HP MSA2 146GB 15K rpm 3.5 inch SAS HDD
HP SC08Ge HBA
HP Ext Mini SAS 1m Cable
We can move the cluster groups including the Quorum and other
Shared disk between each nodes using the "Move group" cluster function and also unplugging the Ethernet cable without any issues.
When we perform an emergency shutdown to test the hardware failure scenario, the cluster and disk resources do not move to the secondary server. We get following error messages in the System Events

Re: Microsoft Cluster with HP MSA
check the SPOCK for more details:
www.hp.com/storage/spock
if found compatible, check the firmware and driver compatibility as well.

Re: Microsoft Cluster with HP MSA
I installed MPIO DSM software for MSA2000 and changed the mode to failover from RoundRobin. I am not sure whether that will help or not.

Re: Microsoft Cluster with HP MSA
In round robin, all the paths are active and send data in round robin fashion across all the paths. Failover will keep only one path active and rest of the paths will be standby.
So, I guess, this may work in your scenario.
