I have a A7340A (16B) switch and I'm trying connect one rp3440 server and one MSL6000 library on it.
The problem is that, both server and library, only login as Loop.
On the library, when I set the FC port on the router as N_Port it doesn't log into switch but if I set as Auto sense it log as Loop.
I updated the Fabric OS to v.3.2.1a version.
I already tryed to set PID Format to 0 and 1 with no results.
Does anybody have any idea on how can I configure the switch to connect the server and library as Fabric?
An error that occurs at switch boot:
FLOGI before switch ready, disabling port
Thanks in advance..
Marcelo

Re: Problem with A7340A switch
Hello Mark,
I've already found the problem.
The HBA's and Library are OK.
The problem was the switch that is old and was configured as quickloop (all ports) and I coldn't find this information in configuration.
Since I executed qldisable command it is working fine.
Thank you
Marcelo
