Hi All,
We have a few 11.31 Servers with 2 Fibre Cards Connected to San Switch.
Storage will move the fibre cable from only one Fibre Card. The new swicth wil have a new domain id.
Please let me know if this will affect the existing device path.
Sagar

Solution
If you use persistent DSF make sure you have pathes from both fabrics.
# ioscan -m hwpath
If you have then you should be home free:
WWID bind to the LUN HW PATH, the LUN HW path of a dev does not change even if the port of that device is changed to different FC or to adifferent switch , and so the DSF bound to the WWID. This DSF is therefore called persistent DSF as this is sure to remain the same if the FC port on SAN Switch or FC HBA changes because these changes do not change the WWID of the LUN.
After the change you can make sure that you still have the expected number of path to the disk:
# ioscan -m dsf
# ioscan -m hwpath
