Windows 2003 Service Pack 2 and Secure Path 4.0C
I was wondering if anyone has installed Windows 2003 Service Pack 2 along with Service Pack 2.
If so what version of raidisk.sys are you running, my version is at 3.7.2.590.
from what HP support is saying that Secure Path 4.0C has not been offically tested under Service Pack 2.

Why are you using secure path and not MPIO?
What storage are you connecting? EVA, MSA, XP?

What is the benefit going to HP MIO, that is what I would like to go to because I think Secure Path will be retire in the future.

I am connecting to two MSA 1000 with Emulex LP952 HBAs.
If you need the firmware of everything I could post that also if needed.

Re: Windows 2003 Service Pack 2 and Secure Path 4.0C
What are the benefits??? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Secure path cost about 4000$, MPIO is free!!!!!
Sp is not supported on EVA 4/6/8K, MPIO yes!!!
So, don't hesitate, download the free MPIO for msa. Version 5.20 requires MPIO basic (Active/passive) while the lastes V7.0 (active7active) required the Full featured.

Do you have an URL?
Plus I think Microsoft recommends MPIO software.

Re: Windows 2003 Service Pack 2 and Secure Path 4.0C
I am very interested in this question.
You say that "MPIO 1_4" is the correct version to work with W2K3 Service Pack 2, but I am looking for this version and the latest version from HP is "v2.01.00 - 16 Nov 2006" for Full Featured and "v1.01 - 5 Jan 2006" for Basic Mpio.

Is this the correct link or I am in the wrong way.
Thanks a lot and best regards.

Re: Windows 2003 Service Pack 2 and Secure Path 4.0C
The only MPIO 1.4 version that I have found in HP is for MSA1000/1500 "HP MPIO Basic DSM (Device Specific Module) for Windows for MSA1000/1500 Active-Passive Disk Arrays"
