Additional packages for guest VM

Is it necessary to install the following additional packages on Linux or Windows guest OS?

・Mourpheus agent (install from manager)

・Windows VIRTIO driver (virtio-win-get-x64.msi)

・Windows VIRTIO guest tool (virtio-win-guest-tools.exe)

・Linux QEMU guest agent (qemu-guest-agent.x86_64 (e.g:CentOS9)

Hello,

Mourpheus agent when installed helps in the collection of utilization statistics,logs, Task execution, and also monitoring.

Regarding Windows VIRTIO driver (virtio-win-get-x64.msi) & Windows VIRTIO guest tool (virtio-win-guest-tools.exe)
When you are creating an image, you must enable if VirtIO Drivers are installed on the image for provisioning & same with VIRTIO guest tool.

Yes, for VMs IP to be visible in the VM Essentials Manager, you will need to install this qemu guest agent.
