Customized dashboard for different user roles

Is it possible to customized dashboards based on users roles? For instance, storage admin will only have active alerts, storage pools, etc as their default dashboard, while other users have different pre-denifed dashboard.

This is already provided today.  Based on the resources you have access to, will determine which Dashboard panels are present.  In 2.0, you can further customize this to be user specific (you can't pre-define them for any user type), and that configuration is stored on the appiance instead of the 1.20 behavior which was a browser cookie.

Thanks Chris! As Admin, how can I customize it for a specific user, for instance for the CIO?
