Unable to find type [HPEOneView.Appliance.Connection] when using local library
Hello,
We have an environment not connected to the internet. I try to import the oneview powershell modules local available on the server. The import failed with the message "Unable to find type [HPEOneView.Appliance.Connection]"
This will happen on all Oneview powershell modules (6.30, 6.60, 8.00..)
I can install the HPEBIOS, ilo and OA moducles without issues.
Can someone help me with this issue?
Thanks,
Lodewijk van den Berg

Re: Unable to find type [HPEOneView.Appliance.Connection] when using local library
This is likely because the library module didn't load, which requires PowerShell 7 or newer. Are you trying to load this module into Windows PowerShell 5? If so, the library dropped support for it a while ago.
