VVOL support in HP One View
VVOLs have been supported by 3PAR for quite sometime.
to make use of VVOL, the protocol end point (PE) should be exposed to the blade servers.
Currently OV would create a zone between initiator and storage port only if there is a 3PAR Volume that need to be mapped to the server profile.
To make use of VVOLs , we should be able to present the storage ports to the blade (server profile) so that the PE is exposed to the blade.
Once PE is exposed to ESX, subsequent configuration can be done via vcenter.
Can oneview do this ?
