Re: BoM on Simplivity

Hi jtd

The term "factory approval" typically refers to a process in which certain products or configurations require approval from HPE before they can be purchased or ordered. This approval is usually needed for specific configurations or customizations that deviate from the standard offerings or require special considerations.

In the context of generating a Bill of Materials (BoM) for HPE SimpliVity 380, it's possible that the configuration you are trying to create includes components or specifications that require factory approval. This could include things like specific hardware options, software versions, or specialized configurations.

To resolve this issue, I recommend reaching out to HPE or your authorized HPE reseller for assistance. They can provide guidance on the specific requirements for the desired configuration and help you navigate the factory approval process if necessary. They will have the expertise and knowledge to ensure that your BoM is accurate and meets your requirements while complying with any necessary approvals or restrictions.

By working directly with HPE or your reseller, you can ensure that you have the correct information and support to successfully generate the BoM for your HPE SimpliVity 380 deployment.

Hope this helps..!!

Regards
Mahesh
