Cluster is showing wrong SimpliVity capacity

Hello guys,

i´ve deployed 2 new SimpliVity nodes in a new cluster. Both are S nodes with 5TB each but when i look at the SimpliVity capacity i see 11TB capacity instead of the presumed 5TB. The time is set correct and i´ve checked the OVCs and there is no time difference between them. The used Version is 3.7.10.

Does anyone know this problem or am i seeing this wrong?

Cheers,

Nick

Re: Cluster is showing wrong SimpliVity capacity

The capacity in the cluster should be x times the total bytes of each node  in the cluster so it the nodes are 5tb I would expect to see 10tb in the available capacity.

if you are adding up the TB size of the disks this does not account for a certain amount of reserved space / Raid penelty.

The GUi Also reports in TIb Not TB
