SolutionHi @J-Philippe
I believe you may be referring to the following issue covered in this VMware KB
https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2149787
I would not recommend making any changes to the OVC or folder structure.
Let me know if this is what you are referring to.
Thanks,
DeclanOR

Re: Virtual Machine OVC Memory Usage alarm appears incorrectly
Hi @J-Philippe
No problem at all.
We see this quite often, and the best solution is the one outlined in that article. (If you want to get rid of the alarms)
Alternatively, live with the alarms knowing it's not actually a problem.
Thank you,
DeclanOR

Re: Virtual Machine OVC Memory Usage alarm appears incorrectly
Sorry, increasing memory will not work for long. As mentioned in the VMware KB, it's a false alarm caused by the use of PCI passthrough devices by the OVC.

Re: Virtual Machine OVC Memory Usage alarm appears incorrectly
Dear all,
may I know whether we can reduce memory of OVC or not?
default setting is 108GB, but I want to reduce to 64GB because I am short of memeory resource.

Re: Virtual Machine OVC Memory Usage alarm appears incorrectly
Do not change the memory allocation for the OVC. It is normal for your production needs to grow and the best way to address that is to expand the federation with additional Simplivity systems.
