Hi There,
I cannot take an ignite backup of the server (HPUX 10.20), because of hosts of issues in there, as I had rebuilt the server from an ignite backup of another server.
The details are as follows:

SolutionApparently the other server had another disk in vg00. You need to remove that disk from vg00. You can try using vgscan to rebuild lvmtab.
# strings /etc/lvmtab # mv /etc/lvmtab /etc/lvmtab.old # vgscan -av # strings /etc/lvmtab # vgdisplay -v vg00 # lvlnboot -v
This should remove the error messages for /dev/dsk/c0t4d0 which causes Ignite to fail.
