Restore HP-UX 11.23 from Ignite Backup

Hi,

We have restored our system after a disk failure, after activating VGs and cheking file systems no data are present and mount point show 0 data. Vgs are on storage EVA4400.

please note that other systems are restored from ignite and data are present on VGs excepte one system who show 0 data. we use VXFS and hpux 11.23 on the system that lost data.
this probléme are hapened in the last resotre (two years ago) we resotred data from backup because of time and now his is happened again.

any help is appreciated.

Ignite makes vg00 backups, data backups are not recommended and not default.

Depending on your settings you may need to import the external data using vgimport.

data are on storage EVA 4400 for other servers we have just to activte a VGs after ignite and all data are present on fs except one server who shows 0 data.

for the nest failure w'll try vgimport.
