IMC - monitor DHCP server
Hi,
I just add on a test server the IMC DHCP agent, everything is working fine and the server is shoying as expected in the DHCP configuration (can also get the Reserved IPs and allocated IPs).
My problem is that I can't find a way to get an alert if the available IP left < 10% .
Do you know a way to get those alert ?
Thank you,
Nicolas

Re: IMC - monitor DHCP server
Hello,
I don't think there is currently any such feature available from the DHCP monitoring agent. You could open a feature request with your HPE Sales / Account Manager to try and get this added.
An alternative would be to use the existing event in the Windows Event Log - there is an event with ID 1020 apparently that triggers when an IP Pool is running out of addresses. You would need to use a third-party tool to convert the Event Log to a Syslog (there's numerous free tools available for this), and send the Syslog to iMC for processing. Then configure the Syslog Template and Syslog to Alarm in iMC so you receive an alarm when this event is received.
