Siretta/Telit 3G/UMTS modem

We have HP IMC v7.2 (E0403) and I would like to send alerts with a Siretta/Telit 3G/UMTS USB modem. The modem has a valid SIM card for sending SMS texts. I would like to send them directly from the modem to a cell phone. Is this possible?

In the GSM Modem Setting I need to fill in a SMSC number. What number do I use here? The number of the SIM card?
