OSEM Status Not Eligible
Hi.
I have a Linux SuSE Enterprise Server 11 on a ProLiant ML350 G5 integrated, with the latest PSP 8.30, in HP Sim 5.1 .
On this server a HardDrive was broken the Trap was automatically forwarded to the OSEM 1.4.8A crsm 10.7.2
In the Notification menue i saw that the status was " In Tansit " after some seconds switched the status to "Not Eligible"
Then i put the damaged HardDrive into a Windows 2003 R2 server and after 5 minutes the trap was send to HP.
Attached you can see the supporting data
Any Idea?

Re: OSEM Status Not Eligible
Here's an idea:
My underanding of "not eligble" is that the your system was not correctly identified in SIM as being eligable for remote support. Is the system showing up under the entitlement tab under the remote support and configuration services? It's possible that OSEM is not forwaing this event from your SUSE client because it does not see it as an eligble endpoint.
SUSE 11 was supported at the 5.30 version of RSA so you might want to check the version of your RSA client also.
regards
brad
