WBEM Subscription to ESXi host failed
Hi All,
I have HP IRS 7.0.9 installed and have VMware ESXi 5.1 installed on six HP DL380p Gen8 servers. I've got them all added into the inventory and it shows the correct warranty and device information. It has also got a green tick for Basic Collection.
I cannot, however, resolve the monitoring component for all the ESXi hosts. The initial WBEM session connectivity was successful. I am using WBEM and RiBCL credentials to query the hosts.
Here's the initial session connection message:
Protocol: Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM)
Service: Session Connection
Type: CONNECTIVITY
Status: SUCCESS
Description: "Session Connection Send Request in Success";
Detailed:
Created: Thursday, 1 May 2014 4:00:58 PM
And here's the failed WBEM message:
Protocol: Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM)
Service: Subscription Manager
Type: SUBSCRIPTION
Status: FAILURE
Description: The WBEM subscription to esxi01.domain.local has failed.
Detailed: The WBEM subscription to esxi01.domain.local has failed.

I don't know where to go from here. There are no logs that I can review to start troubleshooting. Has anyone else experienced this error message?
Cheers,
KFM

Re: WBEM Subscription to ESXi host failed
KFM,
I suggest you log a support case with HP to attempt to straighten out what is happening here.
Thanks
