Boot from ghost CD
I want to boot from a ghost cd to start my rx2660 server image but the cd didn't boot
please have anu idea or suggestion ?

The question should be
does ghost support the server?
You need a **ia64** boot disk - no idea if ghost can do this.

From smart setup menu there is no way to force boot from the ghost CD .

I don't think ghost supports ia64 systems, but I'm not sure.
Your workaround could be to install win and restore your data from the image.

because their is a lot of setup done for windows 2003 and also many setup for software installed there , so the data is no important , the most important for us is the setup done .
a ghost or other similar solution will be the best.

and the setup was done on this machine.
Now i want to backup this system by ghost in case of a disaster .
we cannot just reinstall windows and other software because lot off setup is done on this machine.
