ILO reboot problem
If the ILO configuration on a rX2800 i2 server is modified whilst the system is running,
- If the ILO configuration file is modified does the physical server reboot when the configuration is committed to Bios?
- If the ILO changes are committed are they effective immediately or after a system power cycle?

Re: ILO reboot problem
Hi Barry,
The iLO is a separate management processor and you can change setting and reboot without impacting the running OS on the server.
To reset the iLO:-
iLO> cm
iLO> xd
iLO> r
This will disconnect you from the iLO and you will have to reconnenct once the iLO reboot has completed.
A quick resolution to technical issues for your HPE products is just a click away HPE Support Center Knowledge-base
See Self Help Post for more details
